Kirstie and Lorna: thanks for the comments. All useful input as we consider our options I\'m on the leaflet distribution list placing them in Cirencester Parish Church Tourist Office Library and Cirencester Choral Society. Also Tyndale Choral Society in Dursley., The Cavatina Trust idea is very good. Have you considered discounted student tickets for the 2 Colleges in Cheltenham? I would prefer to have 7 good concerts rather than 8 mediocre ones. Having looked at other Music Societies - and their subscription rates I think we get a very good deal at CMS. For me the series tickets scheme is good. If I didn\'t have the tickets in my hand I would forget when concerts are due- I also get to some concerts that I would perhaps not come to if I didn\'t have a ticket. On the other hand I understand if other people would prefer to use the voucher scheme particularly if they would normally have to miss concerts because of other commitments. I thoroughly enjoy the concerts. Being on different nights of the week suits me altho\' I suspect quite a few people would prefer the same evening of the week.

re David\'s letter \"our society\'s future\". We would be happy to buy vouchers at a discounted price as we can not or do not choose to go to all the concerts but still reckon they are very good value at the full season ticket price. We live in Pershore and probably could do more to invite friends and make up a carfull! I would be very sad to see the society close after such a long and inspiring existence. So yes we could distribute flyers in particular at our community arts centre No 8.Good luck!
